Comfort Zones are meant to be stepped out of
Y’all this Happy place session has neem on my calendar for 4 months! I have been so busy speaking and teaching that I kept see’ing it but kept pretending it didn’t make me a little bit nervous. But let’s be real for second, y’all, the last time I went to the Houston Zoo my kids were maybe 3 and 4…oh an by the way did I mention that was also the FIRST TIME!!!! What can I say?! I have a super strong sense of smell (thank you pregnancy’s) and stinky animals aren’t my jam 😉

But I like a Challenge
So after a calm cool and collected hour and a half drive to downtown houston, I walked into that zoo with a map in hand and cheeks #1 in tow! We tore threw that place in 23 minutes and I scoped spots like a crazy person! I brought every lens I owned because I wasn’t sure what to expect and as luck or unlock would have it most of the zoo was under constructions for the new Texas wetlands exhibit! and and did i mention it was a breezy 82 degrees in Houston texas so yeah double whammy! But just as I started to feel the butterflies the sweetest family arrived and the rest is history!
