i A-D-O-R-E this family!!!! they were referred to me from my fab “little red” this was the last time you saw her but you have seen her oh so many scrumptious times and will see her again soon at saltwater minis
well anyhoo i took myself up toward dallas for their shoot and i have to admit their town was a photographers paradise!!!!! oh yeah i think ill need to be going back there
anyway i had the most incredible time with them, although the weather tried to get in our way by dropping 20 degrees in like 20 min…yeah NO JOKE! but they were all troopers and we walked away just giddy and a little hyped up on cake leftovers, hahahaha
and btw yes i asked too…the answer is NO,not everybody from their town has red hair

drive in movie surprise…
i have a ton of these while i plan to post more…you know me when things get crazy…it may happen it may never happen, hahahaha but see’ing as how we shot some bluebonnet pics last night so while my bet is on those getting bumped up in priority i have to admit you know I’m a sucker for lowlight goodness, so its anybody’s guess at this point hahaha. but nothing is more texas or more country folk than bluebonnets and drive in movies hahahaha

Welcome to the first installment of Kids Were Here. We are a group of passionate photographers who are setting out to document details of evidence that Kids Were Here. It is a fabulous idea introduced by the very talented and creative Ketti Photography.
I am beyond thrilled and honored to be a part of this project, i am one of those people who starts these things and sees what lies ahead…i see the tears-in-my-eyes-so-happy-i-not-only-remember-but-can-see-it kinda person. You see my life, my days, my moments are filled with glitter and shades of pink, toenail polish, hairbrushes, barbies, princess anything and just simply…filled with GIRLS…while years ago i never in a million years would have told you i would hope to have two girls, 18 months apart, at that, now, i couldn’t have my life any other way. my life is so perfectly perfect for me and i am forever grateful God would chose it for me.
and as my friend jude says its best…
“in the the moment is is easy to get frustrated with all the mess and clutter that results from living with children. this set reminds me how quickly it will all pass. one day the toys will be in totes no longer played with. i will miss this. i’m reminded to slow down. to not stress about it. my happiness is not dependant upon everything put back into place and a neat and tidy home.
one day we will have a wonderful reminder. evidence left behind written upon our hearts and minds of our children. photographs that will bring us back to this very day, when our kids were here.” -jude wood
