Meet Fifi the newest couture rag doll by the incredible Stephanie the mastermind behind La Couture Amore…let me tell you the multiple gasps that came from the cheeks girls when i opened the box and pulled fifi out was the sweetest thing ever! A huge thank you to Jessica of the cotton exchange for assisting me in this gawd awful texas heat…the little breeze we did get waas sure to be the death of us and WAS the death of several of our poodle balloons, which by the way were made just for us by the incredible Pat from Holidaz by design the worlds best balloon artist!!!!!!

Shalonda, and the cheeks girls.. what can I say?? utterly AHH-MAZING, Gorgeous , classic Chubbycheek for sure!! I adored your talents a few years back when we first introduced ourselves.. Took a while to connect but I must say we have created Magic** eeep! Ty soooo very much ladybug..xoxo

i truly believe that each of you, no matter what kind of camera you have or dont have, no matter how perfect or imperfect our days can be, it needs to be captured…LIFE needs to be captured. As a group we hope to inspire you to take out that camera, capture a full day of YOUR life, capture your afternoon swinging at the park, or riding bikes to check the mail, any of it, all of it, just capture it! No one but your family will prob ever enjoy these images and hey they may not ever even be edited if you are a photog but the bottom line is someday you will look back and you will be so happy you have these memories captured.

as for us…whew it seems like each month flies faster than the last these days. as my plan of shooting our bluebell tour didn’t pan out when they very kindly mentioned i could not bring my camera along for the tasting fun, i had to hit up plan b and as luck would have it we were taking the girls to our old stomping grounds for another visit to good ol round rock, where both daddy cheeks and i grew up. and what better to do on a hot summer night than head to a Round Rock Express Baseball game!!!!! ill admit a few things (being a football fanatic myself) it was hot, it was long and thank goodness for the awesome firework show at the end
oh and as you can tell cheeks #2 NOT in the mood for pics…ugh

These are absolutely amazing! It looks like you guys had a wonderful month! I LOVE the ball game shots! My kids have been so incredibly hit or miss with the camera lately! They are so going to be glad you took these though when they are older!
omgosh … I have so many favorites from this set. I love the 2nd one … so sweet! and the shot during the pledge … adore. are you kidding me with the ice cream?! looks like the perfect way to wrap up a great day at the ball park…. and fireworks … love them!
these are awesome. I love the all the shots of the girls at the game. The food and the feet up on the seats…love these and someday they will too.

I’ve looked through your everyday photos over and over again and I am just so in love with the way you capture those moments you take for granted!! All the “everyday” things! Also my daughter who is 4 and has a younger sister who is 2 is obsessed also and wants to be just like cheeks #1 which cracks me up!! She refers to her as “the big sister” anyways just thought we’d share some love!
mid session the dark skies rolled in IT.GOT.DARK, and ummm for a natural light photographer…well thats not such a good thing hahahaha
but before the downpour interrupted our session we were able to get some of these in the most dramatic light EV-A…ooohhhhh it gives me chills…i can admit i pretty much love it…
anyhow another mini sneak, ill be sure to blog more later of mr H and his “beautiful-ness” yes mom said its okay for me to say he is beautiful…i mean HE IS, right?! which came as no surprise because we all know the gorgeous-ness that his sister’s bring to the ccp blog…remember them from their sister session a few months ago
