a little about me…
I graduated from Texas A&M University with an engineering degree, go ahead and say it NERD ALERT! I don't spell check (ever), I typically write and type in all lower case and I write just like I speak (minus the typos). While I love sleep, I typically function on very little of it. I really love football, chapstick, chocolate and all things glitter'ed or Texas Aggie! I have been photographing families and children here in Houston for almost 9 years even though I was raised near Austin in the used- to-be-small-town of Round Rock, Texas! Over the last few years I have stepped out of my comfort zone and spoken at national photography conventions hopefully inspiring other moms and photographers to believe in themselves and know that it's okay to turn off that "adult" filter every once in a while and see the world in the magical way that children see it!

A little about a session with me…
This journey through photography has taught me a lot...A lot about life, and a lot about how all of the moments of our past lead us to this very moment we are in right now. While today it might mean nothing, tomorrow it might mean your whole world can change. So these are the moments that matter, the same moments we forget all too soon but wish we could remember forever! These are the moments I want to capture for you! Whether it be that gummy 6 month old grin, or the quiet stillness of your first born and all of the parts and pieces you have been waiting so long to see...or maybe it's the not-so-quiet stillness of your
2 year old running through a pile of leaves! Or maybe it's her love for princesses and fairy tales you want captured or his incredible imagination!
No matter what it is we will find it, we will capture it and we will laugh a whole lot doing it because no session with me is anything close to posed, serious or quiet...ummm helloooo the kids run the show! You see, the thing is, these truly are the in's and out's of our everydays and these little things, these little moments...well..they are simply what makes us who we are and when patched together these moments make up the story of our lives!
