thats what she reminds me of, miss b….
after our shoot today i thought back to the day we first met, it was a wednesday in april…one of those rare mid week shoots for me, but her mom was one persistant lady that i felt a spark with, so i did all i could to fit her in that day…and i am so happy i did. The thing is, the differences in that day and today are so great and so few. yeah yeah yeah same baby, same house, same people, but so much more. It was pretty warm that day, much more warm than today. It was bright sunny and calm. Today started off kind of overcast and a little hectic for all of those involved, heehee…the point (yea i am getting to it don’t be so ansty?!)…she was a sleepy newborn and now she has EIGHT teeth and is almost walking! but evenmore simply put there is a 365 day difference…to have been a part of this family and better yet this baby’s first year of life has been a gift. Sure its been super fun to capture her stages of growth for her parents but its been a gift to me as well. This is part of why i do what i do. I not only get to meet people like her mommy who plans MY kind of birthday parties, is only slightly a perfectionist ;), and is a fan of the word princess, but i got to meet her, miss b and spend some of the most important milestones right there with her trying to make her smile.
thank you mom, for trusting me throughout this year and a HUGE shout out to big sister miss L, quite frankly the coolest dressing super princess i have ever met!! see yall for the second half of the shoot next month.
What a little cutie she is! I love that 1 hat too. You did a wonderful job of keeping it simple while still telling a great story. Love all of these!
